Cookies and similar technology

What is stored on your device, and how to change your mind.

Strictly necessary — always on

A session token so you stay signed in, and a small record of your consent choice so we do not ask again on every page. These are required for the software to work and do not need consent.

Local settings such as light or dark, reduced motion, and how you have arranged your own screen are kept on your device only.

Counting — only with consent

There is no analytics service on this site today: no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no cross-site tracking, and nothing that follows you off it.

A house's own software keeps an operational log of work done inside it — a stage changed, a photograph added — which only that house reads. That is part of running the house, not visitor tracking, and it is not what this choice governs.

If we ever add page counting, it will not run until you have agreed here. Say no and nothing beyond the strictly necessary is stored; the software behaves exactly the same either way.

Marketing

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and there are no third-party ad pixels on this site.

Marketing email is separate and opt-in: every message carries a one-click unsubscribe.

Changing your mind

Use the cookie choices link in the footer at any time. Your choice is recorded with a date so both of us have a record of it.
