For tailoring houses · version 2026-09-02

Terms of service

The agreement between AtelierSuite and a tailoring house using it.

1. Who this is between

These terms are between AtelierSuite ("we", "us") and the tailoring house that opens an account ("the house", "you"). By opening a house, or by continuing to use it after we publish a new version, you accept them.

The house is responsible for every person it gives access to, including staff, cutters and apprentices.

2. What the software does

AtelierSuite keeps client files, measurements, specifications, commissions, appointments, cloth records, invoices and correspondence for a tailoring house, and provides an assistant that drafts work for a person to review.

We may add, change or retire features. We will not remove a feature the house depends on without notice inside the software.

3. Your data stays yours

The house owns its client data. We hold it on the house's behalf and only use it to run the service, keep it secure, and support you.

We do not sell data, and we do not use a house's client data to train models.

4. The assistant, and who is responsible for what it writes

The assistant drafts: invoices, messages, appointments, measurements, cost estimates and summaries. Every draft is presented for a person to read and confirm before it is sent, saved or charged.

The house is responsible for what it confirms. We are not liable for loss arising from a draft the house approved without reading it, or from figures the assistant marked as assumed.

The assistant will tell you when a number is inferred rather than recorded. Treat those as a starting point, not a fact.

5. Payments, card security and regulation

Card payments run entirely through Stripe's hosted checkout. Card numbers, expiry dates and security codes are entered on Stripe's own page and never reach AtelierSuite's code, servers or logs. That keeps us inside the lightest PCI DSS bracket (SAQ A), and we will not add a card field to this software.

Where a house takes payment by bank transfer, the transfer is between the client and the house's own bank. AtelierSuite never holds, receives or moves house or client money: Stripe and the house's bank are the regulated parties, and we act only as software. We are not an authorised payment institution and do not carry on a regulated payment service.

Subscription fees, where they apply, are stated at sign-up and payable in advance. Non-payment may suspend access; it does not delete data.

6. Availability

We aim for 99.5% monthly availability, excluding planned maintenance announced in advance and failures at a third party such as Stripe, a mail provider or a model provider.

Where a third party is unavailable, the affected panel degrades and the rest of the house — client files, commissions, the calendar — keeps working.

7. Security

Each house's data is fenced from every other house at the database level, not only in the application. Access is tied to a named account, and reads and changes are logged.

You must keep account credentials private, remove staff who leave, and tell us promptly if you suspect an account has been misused.

8. Leaving

You may close a house at any time. Before you go you can export your client files, commissions and financial records in a machine-readable form.

On closure we keep the data for 30 days so you can change your mind, then delete it, except where the law requires us to keep something longer.

9. Liability

Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Otherwise our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees paid by the house in that period, and we are not liable for lost profits or lost business.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
